myself and my g/f went camping last summer, just for 1 night to get into the swing of it, found an old eurohike tent in the loft, still waterproof sp we used that. went to a local site, Wicks Farm near Chichester. bought a couple of the sunn gaz camping stoves and an air bed(which we forgot to pack doh). borrowed some stuff from a friend who goes camping a lot i.e lights, pots and pans etc...
I couldnt believe how much stuff we needed for one night, were going to try book up for the late bank holiday weekend in May,
any tips for this? thinking about Hampshire/Dorset.
there will be 4 of us, 2 men and 2 girlies, ages 20 - 26
between us i think we will have most of the equiptment, just need something to cook under if it rain, was thinking about a gazeebo but i have read on here that a lot of sites dont like them..
any replies will be good, thanks
chris
