hi,

we are a group of 16 year old girls and we are wondering if anyone here knows where we can find a caravan park which accepts bookings for our age group. we would like to keep it in the UK but we dont mind how far we have to travel in order to find a caravan site. we could possibly bring boys if it will help us secure a booking. we would ideally like to be situated somewhere wiht vibrant nightlife.

Hi there

Last summer a work colleague's daughter went off with friends camping for a few days after GCSE's, so I guess they would have been 16 - they went somewhere in Croyde, North Devon - if I recall they were taken down and collected by parents but stayed on their own for a few days.  Don't know about the night life there, but I think the surfing beach is quite lively.  I will find out a bit more tomorrow for you and post again.

Try monkey tree & sunnyside - both around the newquay area.
Hendra will also take groups - although they say they dont :)

There is a site in croyde with is called Surfers Paradise. It's on the campsite reviews here.Croyde is a bit cut off though without a car.

I bet there are some sites around Newquay though which will accomadate you and the public transport etc. will probably be better?

Me and some mates (all chaps!) used to go and see bands all over the place and we stayed in camp sites the night of the concert. We sayed in the C&CC in Brighton with no trouble- We also stayed in a campsite in Southsea right at the end of the beach- No probs again except we had to pay a deposit and if we messed about etc (as if we would!!) they would charge us.

thanks, we have looked into them all, however we were wondering if we could podssibly have any more details about the one in brighton? as that would be much easier to get to and may suit our needs better,
