we are a group of 16 year old girls and we are wondering if anyone here knows where we can find a caravan park which accepts bookings for our age group. we would like to keep it in the UK but we dont mind how far we have to travel in order to find a caravan site. we could possibly bring boys if it will help us secure a booking. we would ideally like to be situated somewhere wiht vibrant nightlife.
many thanks
luce
Don't forget to leave a review of the campsites you have visited this year or last!
Hi Luce, don't know where abouts you are, but my daughter stayed here with her mate when nearly 16. It has a club, but not so sure if its what you call 'vibrant' but it is a short walk on the sea front to the town centre.
Last summer a work colleague's daughter went off with friends camping for a few days after GCSE's, so I guess they would have been 16 - they went somewhere in Croyde, North Devon - if I recall they were taken down and collected by parents but stayed on their own for a few days. Don't know about the night life there, but I think the surfing beach is quite lively. I will find out a bit more tomorrow for you and post again.
Made further enquiries today, but couldn't find out which site, but it was definitely Croyde (but not Ruda). Sorry can't be more help, hope you find somewhere and have fun!
Me and some mates (all chaps!) used to go and see bands all over the place and we stayed in camp sites the night of the concert. We sayed in the C&CC in Brighton with no trouble- We also stayed in a campsite in Southsea right at the end of the beach- No probs again except we had to pay a deposit and if we messed about etc (as if we would!!) they would charge us.
thanks, we have looked into them all, however we were wondering if we could podssibly have any more details about the one in brighton? as that would be much easier to get to and may suit our needs better,
They hired a 30 seater coach to take them there and back it worked out cheaper than getting a train, and much more comfortable and convenient than having to change trains. I think it cost £600 return but it worked out at about £25 per head. Train would have been £27 plus taxi from the station
