Hi Andrew,
We stayed at the Henley site last year. Just to confirm the reply from David, we were on a pitch 3 rows from the road and it's noisy at night. If you go as far back as you can behind the wardend office you will be fine. Pitch numbers 24 - 46 and 75 - 83 are ideal. We found that people do not vacate there pitches at noon as required, so it would be worth your while if the sites full, asking the warden who's moving off, so you can get the pitch you want. Or it might be worth your while sending for a site plan as your going in August, perhaps you can book a pitch ? If you go into Henley, turn left over bridge and then left onto path along thames, you can cycle for miles. Hope this helps. regards Daniel
