Hello

Can you help please - does anyone know the name or have contact details of the site on the corner of Low Manor road & Stape Road please ? Multimap link here

There is a car rally next weekend in Cropton forest - but the Spiers House site is closed - opens 30 March, which is too late.

I have had a look on my OS Explorer Map of that area, and at the point you have indicated is Bank Top Farm, nearest village, Newton-on-Rawcliffe.  All I can find about this on the internet is that this farm is being auctioned next month, but no mention of a campsite, doesn't sound very promising.  Sorry can't be of any more help.

These holiday cottages, Rawcliffe House, seem to be near that spot, may be they used to have a campsite, and found cottages to be more profitable, you could always be cheeky and phone them to ask.

Hi Elaine - thanks for your suggestions & link - I'll give the cottages a ring.

I've also found that the pub at Newton on Rawcliffe take touring caravans round the pack of the pub - so may try them too - the pub is called the Muck Duck (seriously!)
