We are meeting up with my friend and her family, at a haven site.  I live in the north and she lives right down south. As we havent seen each other for about 2 years we thought it would be nice to meet up.

My friend booked the holiday for both of us, and we have all paid.  We have asked to be next to each other.  I dont think this is unreasonable as we havent asked for any special pitches, eg. next to toilets.  And we hope to meet up at the same time.

I dont think this is being unreasonable, as we have booked months before we go and have paid in full.

Are some of you saying that its unreasonable to hold a pitch for someone who has not pre booked, and not sorted out pitches before hand, and that the person who arrives first bags the best pitches?  Cos this i can understand and would be annoying.

Don't forget to leave a review of the campsites you have visited this year or last!

This topic seems to be suffering "tent rage" - have had road rage- parking rage - buggy rage (pushchairs) etc etc - thought camping was about relaxing and getting along. Surely, we can all try and give and take a bit - there are times when we might camp together as a small group and times when we move a pitch away from an obvious group getting together and a perceived "best" pitch for someone may not be the best pitch for someone else...  There does seem to be a split vote but the issue isn't black and white, there is no right/wrong answer or policy- each situation is different and may be it's about treating others how we would like to be treated?
