we have just returned today from ladysmile devon havin been there for 4 days the site was not busy(yes i no its out of season) other than the seasonal pitched people. the pitches are very spacious many with there own re-setable trips(not that we triped ours) shower block well laid out with plenty of hot water and staff were friendly

cant wait to go back in june

is there anyone out there whos going here ?

p.s some people have slated this site, dont knock it till youve tried it !

 hi mrs p  , no we arent going this year my daughter has a baby in june so we are holidaying around the baby, we really enjoyed the camp would deafinally go back, i live in longton, my son works at screwfix

I can agree totally with that one - I'm never going back again.

I like lively sites as well as the quiter one - but hated Ladys Mile

We go quite a lot for the weekend: much, much better out of season. Last time we went there was only a handful of vans there and it was great: felt like we had our own swimming pool and gigantic garden around us: not to mention the kids had the park almost to themselves. I even had a go on the swirly slide thingie in the pool cos there wasn,t anybody around to see me!!!!!!! Might go at easter but it won,t be as good then cos it,ll be more busy.

Hi

we went to lady's mile July/August 2004 and loved it, but I guess it depends on where you are pitched. we went for a walk around one day and couldn't believe how far away some of the pitch's were, & I guess it also depends on who you pitch next to aswell.

Kids loved the pool but I did feel they closed it to early (around 5.30 ish)

Glad I saw this post, we're going to book for a weekend in Aug, site looks fab-we,ve got 2 small children in our large group and the website appears to show that they'll be entertained quite well.

The livlier the site the better for us-we're prob the nosiest-usually about 18 go together so hopefully we'll enjoy this site.
