hi can enyone reco mmend a good site in kent  ?weve never toured this area we would like a site not to far to  a village or the like { walking distance to local hostelry }many thanks

Hi Wilden and welcome

Tanners farm near goudhurst is a lovely site with good amenities. The guy running it has been noted as a bit of a misery by some but it never affected out stay as we never saw him. It books up quick though as it is popular.

Good location for exploring Kent and Sussex as it is not far from the A21 ( though far enough to not hear it)

Dover is a lovely place , hawthorn road caravan park in martin mills. there is some lovely sites in kent , have you had a look on the camp site search........good luck
