We often go to Cornwall for thelast few days of the summer hols. It usually rains, especially when we go to Padstow!!
We have two young children and one of their favorites is to cycle from Wadebridge to Padstow (and back!). It is virtually flat and you can hire cycles, including a Tag-a-long for your four year old,right by the Camel Trail. Park in Lidl's car park.
We cycle and have lunch in Padstow. Don't miss the gooseberry icecream!
Or you can park in Rock and catch the ferry over to Padstow. There are also some lovely walks and beaches on the Rock side of the river.
Last year we went to the Great Maize Maze on the road into Padstow. It was quite low key, and the children loved it!
