Hi, we are organising a weekend away for a group of ~14 blokes to celebrate the promotion of our hockey team and need to find a site that will allow us to make a litlte noise without upsetting anyone.  The site can be basic, just needs to be close enough to a village / town to get to without too much trouble.

Don't bother trying C&CC sites. You won't like their 11:00 o'clock rule (ie no noise after 11:00pm - oh we do like C&CC sites!)

You may wish to try finding a farmer somewhere that'll give you permission to pitch on his land so you can make as much noise as late as you wish, without bothering other campers.

Thanks for the replies. Now realise that a bit more information would really help!!!!  We are looking for a site within three hours (150miles?) of South London.  I guess that is down to the coast in Kent and across to Dorset then up and around to Monmouthshire / South Wales.
