thanks for reply alyson my little girl just loves the beach we just going to try 2 nights the 1st time to see how we get on the entertainment isnt really important but would be an extra incase of bad weather but whats most important is things to do places to visit and the beach for kids!!!! any ideas
Ther are some good sites around caernarfon(dinas dinlle). We camped at morfa lodge - 200 yds from lovely beach, swimming pool and entertainment in clubhouse. might be booked up though. We are off to greenacres ( a haven site in portmadog) tomorrow. campsite right on the beach, indoor pool and play areas, and fantastic entertainment. The black rock sands beach there is superb.

We've just booked a weekend in St. David's Park on Red Wharf Bay on Anglesey. We've never been before, although driven past. The brochure came the other day, it has it's own private beach, on site pub (with entertainment at the weekend I think) and kids play area - looks very nice, but it's not cheap at about £25 a night. We're on the Wirral not far from you I'm guessing, so it's a nice short blast down there to Anglesey, especially if it's just for the weekend! There are loads of fab beaches on Anglesey, so if your kids love that then you can't go wrong.
thank you all so much for taking the time to reply you have all been a great help ive never been camping before i think im more exited than the kids! hope you all have a great time camping thanks again xx

could you let me know what the roads are like getting to that site when you get back please? One or two of the site we've looked at going to have got reviews that state that the roads are only passable for one car. I've just noticed that it's for camping only but would still be interested in trying it with the kids sometime in a tent.
Just realised you are from Liverpool so if you're looking for a site for 2 nights you probably wouldnt come down to south wales - - only know of sites down here but if you do venture down bank farm horton in gower may suit you it has a clubhouse not much entertainment but small indoor play area for kids & pool table heated pool in conservatory take away and walking distance to beach (walk back up from beach is steep) but you can take car beautiful views from site too.......
thanks alyson sounds like a great place even if its not for our 1st hol im sure we would enjoy it when we go for a longer hol we not going too far for the 1st time just incase my youngest who is 2 and very set in his ways and is also prone to the odd tantrum!!! Im just sorry i didnt think of camping sooner theres so many beautiful places in this country ive never even seen this camping could become an addiction and with all these suggestions im spoilt for choice tell you what though i will enjoy tryin them we normally struggle to get 1 hol a year now weve bought a tent which hopefully we will like we can go away more often sorry im going on thanks for your help i really appreciate it xx
Tyddyn Llwyn is near the black rock sands beach and walking distance to the town. they have a games room all the usually facilities and a bar/resturant. We live between holywell and prestatyn and it takes us just under 2hrs to get there taking it easy.
Another site we like is Riverside in Caernarfon instead of the beach they have a river which has been altered to allow for swimming, paddling and my daughter uses her dingy The site staff are also really helpful and friendly.
