The Old Oaks (Adults only site) in Glastonbury - lovely peaceful site, superb 5* facilities and planty of chill out opportunities. The ideal place to go to re-charge your batteries.
With so many wonderful places it still amazes me why so many people prefer to go abroad, maybe once I have seen all the beautiful places in the UK I may be temted to join them -then again probably not!
West coast of Scotland, Asraig, Ullapool, Glencoe, Gairloch, Scourie, the further north you go the better it gets. You cover lots of miles (we did 1200 this Easter) but it is worth it. Go up every year just to get our fix of it!!!!! Everyone should go there before they die!!!!
Have a look at Mendip Heights, Priddy, Somerset - lovely clean site, well stocked shop, very small play area, and that's it - great views and peace and quiet. Well placed for Cheddar, Wookey Hole, Wells, Glastonbury.
Never been abroad except on a school cruise. Too much to see here first. Going to Cornwall in June, lots of walks from the site so can park the car and relax.
Went to Bainbridge Ings a few years ago - lovely views and lots of lovely walks around there. Fully recommend it.
------------- No, really?!
Don't forget to leave a review of the campsites you have visited this year or last!
The Wye Valley has some super secluded riverside sites
THUMPER.

john, sykeside near brotherswater in the lakes has some pretty awesome views and only a short drive from aire force waterfalls (simply breathtaking on a hot summers day as you can paddle in the clear mountain water up to your waist to cool off and refresh yourself whilst eating your packed sarnies sitting on a huge boulder.) as it happens, one of the many small bridges that goes over the waterfalls on the walk up to the top of the falls is names after me! weird eh? got a few photo's of the plaque that is place on the bridge, which i like to show off as often as possible.
fly by RAF tornado's aren't that common either so piece and tranquility is almost assured.not cheap though, but then you get what you pay for sometimes.
