we stayed at oakdene last year, great for the kids, but have to say it was noisy at night in peak season as there was a disco till midnight every night, and there were teenagers everywhere.
if you are going to camp there, dont get put in the meadow, although its cheaper, when it rains it floods badly as its low ground. plus it only has portacabins for washing up, loos and showers.
the main field had excellent facilities, but it was like sleeping on a roundabout, people had to drive past you to get out, and the washing up area was noisy even at night, as people were driving up from the meadow, and washing up in the metal sinks which echoed as they were undercover.
i would go again, but i would rather do it in a caravan, slightly more sound proof than a tent i would think.
