Hi fellow campers

Second night on the Forum. Thanks everyone for my responses and Hi to everyone welcoming me to Tent talk.

Anyway just thought i,d let you know i was reading my local paper today and (unbelievable but true) a camp site just 8 miles from me has been rated 4th best Camp-site in the world and no it wasnt a miss-print. Its called The Warren in Folkestone,  Kent.  I know its very beautiful round that way because me n hubby used to walk the dog there.  The beach is lovely and you have the cliffs.If you walk along the Warren there are two fishing ponds & woodland tracks that lead onto the beach and years ago there was a nudist beach    not sure if if that remains, used to have a bit of a laugh looking. I know my hubby used to have a good look anyway (perv).  Anyway thought i would make that my first port of call for my first ever camping trip and, its not to far from home cause  i,m bound to forget something. Er wheres the kids   lol   Ps The newspaper doesnt state whether the camp-site is the Little Switzerland or the Warren but both very nice!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi Bagpuss ........ the lower one owned by the Camping and Caravan club is actually called The Warren ....... so I guess it's that one ... as you say both are lovely site's set in the cliffs ......... I used to play at Little Switzerland when I was young, we used to go there onSunday afternoon for picnics

Now do we go this weekend ........ ummmmmmmm
