Was there for three nights at easter and loved it.
Only complaint was toilet/shower block door wouldn't close, so was quite chilly! I did mention it to the staff, so hopefully this will have been fixed by now.
Also, did not use the pool as I thought the charges were a bit steep. £2 for adults/£1 for kids for an hour for a pool a little under the size of most hotel leisure type pools.
But a great base for exploring and really good sized pitches. We had the quadspace up and had loads of room.
Have a great time.
PS Look up Faskally on the camp site search at the top - lots of reviews, mostly positive.
sorry, tried it a couple of years ago and didn't like it - i felt it was very rowdy. things might have changed since then so go and enjoy! The area is nice and the site was clean etc.
Hi I had a look at all the reviews - seems to be a mixed bag. I think out of season it will be a great site but in season far too busy - that was my gripe anyway.
I'd thought about Faskally for this July until I read the reviews and changed my mind. I think it probably would be OK out of season/school holidays when the park was quieter though, it looks nice.
------------- Turn your face to the sun and the shadows fall behind you.
We have friends who go to Faskally quite a lot, they have always enjoyed their visits but do agree that during school holidays it can be a bit 'rowdy' but that is the same on most sites, as long as the staff monitor the situation and the noise dies down after 11pm/midnight then I would be happy, really must try Faskally for ourselves one weekend, we have been invited a few times now but have not been able to get away!
Nice to see a varied amount of reviews for this site, it really does help to see positive and negative reviews. After all what some folks love others loath!
------------- Still alive and kicking!
Don't forget to leave a review of the campsites you have visited this year or last!
Family down the road go there pretty much every year.Nice people too!
I would guess if you wanted total peace and quiet you would be better off by avoiding August( English, Scottish, and European school holidays all at same time!) altogether!
HI have been told by a friend who goes regular that there are more static caravans now so a bit less field space, but loverly walk down by the river and surrounding area is great, dont miss queens view.
