Hi, Thats funny iI've just come on here looking for info on that camp aswell...

My sister & brother-in-law stayed nr cricceth 2 weekends ago, they drove around a few camp sites & found Mynydd Du. They really liked the look of it,I'm phoning up tomorrow to book 2 pitches( if they have any left) one for us & one for them...

We are hoping to go 4 the bank holiday at the end of the month, when were thinking of going ?

My sister is very choosy when it comes to campsites & luked round the site & really liked it...

We are looking at going towards the end of June for the Criccieth festival and then booking for the August bank holiday weekend.

We have been to the site next door (Eistedffa) a few times, but were slightly diaspointed this weekend when we stayed there. Mainly due to the fact that the play area was so far away from where we were pitched that we couldn't really let the girls (3 and 6) go there on there own.

Also the owners seam to have taken a step back and have employed some wardens so it just isn't the same place we kept going back to last year.

We love the area and will keep heading back there.
