went to glen nevis campsite some years ago ,its got a pub

we also went to glen nevis about 10 years ago, in july

sunny when we arrive and set up.. sunny the day we packed up to leave.  every other day was wet, except the middle weekend when it snowed !

will never forget that

I thought you all had spelt ben nevis wrong until i did a google and found the glen nevis is near to ben nevis and it looks lovely, will be showing it to the o/h sorry for being a bit blonde.

The Glen Nevis site is excellent, beautiful location and a good, quiet site.

There is a pub nearby, not been in it though. We're the sitting quietly with a bottle of wine outsdie the tent kind of campers.

We have been to Glen Nevis campsite many times both in tent and caravan,their facilities are excellent.The site has a restaurant and a bar, there is another eating place further up the glen but the best place for food and drink is the Ben Nevis Inn which is about 20mins walk from the site at the bottom of one of the paths,see website www.ben-nevis-inn.co.uk The site is within walking distance of the town where there is a decent sized swimming pool.As for the weather it is either like the french alps or it's like Fort William but it's always beautiful.
