Can anyone give us advice as to the best family friendly (+dog friendly) campsites in the Lake District - one child under 5 and other child under 10.

Would like somewhere clean, close to amenities and good child facilities.

 

Any Ideas???

You coul dtry Flusco wood very clean and only 5 mins off Jct 40 M6. Not the cheapest but good services.

We stopped at wild rose which was very nice and always gets good reviews

Take a look at Croft Holiday Park at Hawkshead, Smashing site in a great part of the lakes and only 300mtr's from the village were you will find everything you need ie shops, pub.s ect.,    Well worth a visit
