Anyone reccomend a caravan site near the Brecon Beacons just having a wek away on my own for a bit of walking so dont need to many facilities maybe nice views quite have looked at the the camp site search on the site will want electric hookup though thanks

in Brecon its self is Brynich,and just outside is bishops fields,bit further north you got the fantastic forest fields in builth wells and in llandovery you got another fab site called erwlon..

theres lots more...but these are the ones i know of...

Pencelli Castle, on the outskirts of Brecon, is a really nice site.

we used to used this site when i was a teenager ( a good few years ago lol) its more black mountains than brecon becons but i remeber it had some great walks and a really nice pub!

I like Pencelli Castle - Has all the usual facs, but also has a drying room for wet boots etc

Brynich has a drying room too . We've stayed at Brynich a couple of times and used it as a base for walking - found it to be very good.
