On the way back from Turner Hall at the weekend, I was driving back along the B3522 past Thirlmere when at the last minute i spotted a campsite just on the edge of the lake (well across the road), but the road was quite busy i wasn’t able to stop and go back and check the name. So i was wondering if anyone knew what it might be called. If you have the Tescos road atlas 2006 (lol good ole Tescos)it is marked on there, but it doesn’t give a name - its grid ref is (72,B2) on page 36, its on the North-East side of the lake. IF anyone knows what its called or anything about it, please could you let me know.
Thanks in advance
Ash
