Hi everyone I.m looking for a nice site around Kings Lynn, Hubby is working in that part of the world and as I get more holiday entitlement than him I thought we could take the caravan and I could sneak an extra week in, I'v looked at Searles (Hunstanton)and Petney Lakes, both look O.K its just that I,ll be on my own all day and I don,t know much about surrounding area, good shopping sightseeing etc.I'd be grateful for any views or info on other sites,
Cheers Rosie

The sandringham sites are probably your best bet if you canget in as they are very popular. There is Diglea at Snettisham which is a comercial site, there is a CS in Heacham and Searles at Hunstanton. There is a CL in Holme next the Sea as well. there is a site near the A47 at North Runcton as well that gets a bit of road noise but is not too bad. Do you have transport as there is Fakenham Race Course and several sites at Swaffam. Kings Lynn has some nice places to visit and there is Sandringham house, Norfolk Lavender, Bircham Windmill, The Eco Centre at Swaffam, various crafty places, Holt, lots of seaside. What are your interests and I'll let you know likely places to go. I Live near Hunstanton.
Thanx folks , Hubby is working closer to Wisbech so he is going to check out the sites to see which he can get to work easiest from, as for me filling in the time while he is at work, apart from walking the dog ,I love seaside places probably cos I'v always lived by the sea but I also like places with a bit of history, I'll have transport so I can have a good look around the area, it all sounds good, and I'll keep a supply of cucumber sarnies just in case!
