Orwell Meadows in Ipswich?

Has everything, but the Sea! Felixstowe is only 15 mins down the road though!

Im off there on 19th July, but from what I have read seems very child friendly!

Not sure about the footie...... not interested myself!

Hello and thanks for your info.

The problem for me is that I visit ipswich frequently to see my father-in-law so it does not have the same appeal really.

I am chasing up a lead of a good campsite at Mersea which has playground, indoor swimming pool and  a newly refurbished bar.

Thanks again - Dave B

Hi Dave

Not sure which site you are looking at on Mersea but we stayed at Waldegraves last year and would recommend it. Bar is good, food on site, outdoor heated pool, close to beach, fishing and golf driving range also if you want it.

dave i agree with stellafella but they are making a mint this year they have put the pitch fees up alot this year because they always get fully booked when the big footy is on

-------------
why is it that peeps into caravan and camping have no problems with the peeps next door never a problem we pull onto our pitch to be offered tea or help ercting the awning /tent maybe if the country lived in caravans and tents there would be no problems in life ?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

I suspect i've got my facts slightly wrong and maybe it is Waldegraves which I shall phone up tomorrow and try to book for the weekend next.

Thanks again - Dave B

Contrary to the website they do not hire out fishing tackle at Waldegraves so you must take your own.

I don't think £22 per night is too bad for two adults and three children though.
