I am looking for a cheap site for August in Cornwall or Devon area,I haven't any children and I a'm not bothered about all the amenities etc.bar,showers,laundry room etc.Just a nice peacefull site that I can enjoy for 2 weeks.Has anyone been to any?If possible I would like to be within walking distance of a village.Cheers

Slapton Sands C&CC is my favourite in South Devon in between Salcolmbe and Dartmouth. Peaceful no club nice shower block. Love it, Overlooks the sea.

Holmans Wood at Chudleigh is nice too.  Right next to the A38 but that aside convenient for loads of places and nice owners too.

Hi,

we always enjoy Dawlish Warren and a good site is leadstone camping check them out via this website. It is a nice quiet place within walking distance of a good pub or two and is just far enough away from the seafront to avoid all of the chavs.

Hope you have a nice time wherever you end up

I like the caravan club site at St Agnes, nice views of sea and tin mine, but it’s about a mile to the village and it has no showers

Trouble is...what do you call a cheap site?  Most are in the region of a minimum £15 night in Jul and Aug in Devon and Cornwall.

We stayed at Ross Park in Devon 2 years ago. Very nice! Relaxing and peaceful. Has a conservatory/bar, but no way was it a roudy park

got some friends stayng there later this year. overlooking the sea, a good run off the main road. ideal
