Hello All.

I am going cycling in the Lake district in July, I was hoping to book the camping and caravan club site in Keswick but it is full.  Does anyone know of a site within walking distance of the town centre as I would like to partake in a few beers at night but don't want far to walk.

yep castlerigg farm...about 10-15mins walking to keswick...

Are you sure about that?   Assuming you want a standard grass pitch, there looks to be vacancies throughout July. Perhaps you've been requesting a different sort of pitch.

Mind you, you have to book three nights!

I was a bit concerned about your post as I intend to use it myself at that time
