Stayed near Culkein - but not camping.  However did visit Achmelvich beach which is close to  Clachtoll and absolutely stunning - feel like you are in the Seychelles rather than Scotland (though the cold breeze can bring you back to earth).  it is a beautiful part of the world.  Recommend it.

If you go to this campsite you will not be disappointed we went last year and its the best campsite for being near the beaches.  Everything about it we loved.  We have decided to return this year but are staying in a static caravan which we have hired and its behind clachtoll so same views but staying for two weeks this time.
