Just had a quote from Butlins for a pitch this coming October Half Term.

They want a whopping £279 for a pitch!!  In October !!!!!!

Take your hard earned elsewhere.

It is outrageous at that price( though  it does include, your EHU, up to four people and admission to all the entertainment.)

But it becomes a serious bargain at £99. ( Some of the year including most of July).

Families are always ripped off at the school holiday time.

Schools should be open all the year round( with a certain number of sliding weeks holiday chosen by the parents!) Being trialled in one or two places I understand.

Cut out the need to "pull the children from school for a week" to get a cheaper holiday.

And hey for just under two grand you could stay at Butlins from March to October( seasonal pitch!!!!!!)

Just booked Oct Half Term Week at BrynOwen in Wales

£45 for a week with EHU and ents passes!!

Looks like they are getting just like the tour operators CON merchants when it comes to bumping up the prices for families

It costs £99 for a week touring at Butlins until July 21st when it goes up to £299 still a bloody good saving on there rip off accomodation charges.

Not everyones cup of tea though.

Oh, the joys of scottish school holidays...our schools break 30th of June, then we all come down south to the nice quiet English sites and take advantage of all the cheaper ferry fares. But it works the other way too....our schools go back 21st August, so all our sites will be quiet after that.
