we are going to The white rose touring park in Littlehampton next saturday and was just interested to know if anyone has been there lately.

I have read the reviews on here but they are all quite old!!

Any new thoughts about this site would be great

thanks

We were close to booking this park as it looked pretty good but I imagine like you we finally decide after reading reviews.

We just couldnt feel quite confident enough for the same reason but would still be interested so please let us know how you get on ( by the way we have 2 kids ages 6 and 5 ) so it must be suitable for them because if they dont approve then it always ends up a bit of a struggle!

Hello sorry I can't help you about the campsite but I live just outside littlehampton and the area is nice especially Arundel which is beautiful with a huge castle, cathedral, very large lake to walk round and feed the ducks called swanbourne lake, wetlands wildfowl trust and loads of very quaint shops and museums to visit. Although I live locally I love to go to Arundel and the surrounding area as there are lots of wooded areas to go walking and exploring. Littlehampton itself is not that fantastic but the beaches are clean and there is loads to do with kids!! I hope this helps?  Nickie  (East Preston)

Haven't been there recently but stayed there overnight a couple of years ago on the way back from IOW. It seemed OK to me, the pitches were individually screened (if you like that kind of thing) and the toilet etc. facilities were OK - I must have had a shower 'cos I always do, and don't remember getting scalded.  Don't remember it being particularly noisy either, it just wasn't our kind of site.

If you do go down there, you definitely want to consider having a meal at the Six Bells - it was out of this world (hope it still is).

Hi Kas

I stayed at White Rose last year, we stayed for 3 nights at this site and it was nice but our pitch was right opposite the childrens play area and was quite noisy until around 10pm. I would recommend you try and get a pitch further away.

I have just looked at my review to refresh my memory and the showers were a bit cold but other than that we had a nice time. Pitches were big too.

We also walked to the local pub (sorry can't remember the name) but it wasn't far and the food was out of this world.
