Hi,

Can anyone give me some pointers about SB. Need to know;

Do they have facilities to freeze ice packs?

Is the onsite shop expensive? Is it usually well stocked?

Does anyone have any photos they'd like to show off!?

i think Sandy Balls is having some refurbishment this year sometime.

I am not sure about ice pack freezing, but the shop used to very good, though not cheap. ( there is a supermarket in Fordingbridge)

We visited there about 3 years ago, and whilst it is very nice and all that, its rather a busy place....and quite noisy ( well thats out opinion!)

We prefer somewhere quieter.........

They definately do ice packs as I have seen people ordering them.

The shop is a Spar shop, obviously you pay a bit more as with all camp shops.  There is also a good gift shop.

I have never found it noisy at all, the wardens are quite hot on noise, which is how we prefer it.  They are currently having a traffic free area constructed, i think re-routing cars away from the main facilities area, to include a barrier entry system.

Thanks for that. Just one other question do they have a maximum occupancy policy? Some more memebers of my family want to come too. I can understand sites not wanting lots of rowdy groups, but we are a nice family!
