Hi
We were there for the last week in July last year. My advice if you want a hardstanding is to get there at 12 noon. We noticed the hardstandings changed hands very quickly and everybody seemed to prefer them to the grass. It is a lovely site - but don't take any notice of references saying that pitches have sea views - you can barely see the sea from just one or two of the pitches. Many pitches do have a nice view across the valley.
If the weather turns windy, some pitches do get a bit of a buffetting on the hillside - you will notice that they do a roaring trade in tie-down kits at the site shop, so you might want to think about taking one if you are using an awning.
and you should also take some blocks/chocks with you, as many of the (grass) pitches are sloping. Oh and some of the pitches at the lower far end of the site are near some big manhole cover thingys - and it does 'niff' a bit in that area!
Otherwise, its a well run, very attractive site with a very good play area and I'm sure you will enjoy it.
