I'm not sure about the Monty 6 but the Indiana 8 is certainly verging on large tent territory. Many sites will probably have to allow two pitches worth of ground for it. My advice would be to be upfront with site owners about the size of your unit - there'd be nothing worse than assumptions being made about the space required for 5 people, only to find yourself relatively squashed.
After all, the Indiana is some 2 metres longer than the other tent, and is designed to sleep more people.
Our tent is the Nebraska XXL (7.4 mL x 7mW), three bedrooms and large porch and apart from one campsite we haven`t really had any trouble with campsites. I agree about being upfront about the size of your tent though.
Have you looked at the thread entitiled sites accepting large tents?
Our trailer tent is big as we have a 3m mid extension and a sun canopy on the front so I always give measurements of it when I enquire about booking and make sure I put the measurements on the booking form in "can't possibly be missed" large lettering and some sort of "note" to the effect that I asked the site for a big enough pitch when I phoned to book. Can't bear the thought of turning up to find we don't fit on the pitch and have to find another site - especially at the height of the season so it does bother me! There are lots of sites that do have really big pitches but plenty that don't. Most sites seem to have a mixture of sizes so if you book early enough you'll be OK at lots of places. But looking back at some of the sites we stayed on when we first had the tt, before the extension or suncanopy bits were bought, I know we'd not fit on those pitches with it as it is now. At least if we're desparate we could remove those bits in order to fit onto a smaller pitch.
Good luck with your choice of tent. And happy camping!!!!

Had another thought (gosh, two today!). If you don't need EHU then sometimes sites have "overflow" fields which they use in the main school hol period and these tend not to have pitches marked out so you can pitch wherever you like and take up as much space as you like. Plenty like this in the West Country. But if you want EHU then it's not so easy with a big'un.
Hi we have a royal montpellier 9, which is a 9 man tent, The tent has 3 rooms 3 doors and a large living area, we brought this tent for £249.99 plus p and p , we have come across no problems with pitching this tent as long as you inform the campsite of the size.
