Hi everyone, this is my first posting so be gentle with me. We are camping virgins and are in the process of getting everything together for our first trip. I have been looking at the flower of may site at filey as this isn't too far for our first time. What i would like to know is have any of you guys been and is it nice? Also what is a pup tent?

A pup tent is a little tent you can shove the kids in slightly apart from your main tent! We plan on putting up our tiny one-man tent inside our bigger tent this year so that our son can get a bit of peace and not have to share a sleeping space with his irritating sister.

Yes Flower of May is an excellent site, i have been going regularly in the last 30 years. well laid out pitches, great and clean shower and toilet blocks, nice bar, kids entertainment at weekend and school holidays, adult only bar, pool and leisure facilities,shop, cafe and good playground for kids.

We are going in July for our normal week, kids are all teenagers now but they still like to go.
