Hi, we are looking for a quiet campsite on, or near, the Gower. We have a large tent with three young children and a dog. Would like EHU but not essential. Don't like noise at night or anything too busy but a walk to a nice pub would be good. Hope I'm not asking too much.

Have been to Pitton Cross but it was too far from the sea. Ive looked on the campste search but the reviews were a bit mixed. Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks

Robbie

Just done a search and found loads of similar threads

Bank Farm looks promising but I'm not sure about a site with a bar and swiming pool. Don't like too much noise, having a baby with us. Anyone been there?

I go there all the time. Love it, I don't find it to be noisy at night,  not after 11 anyway. Good showers and toilets. Big pitches, even when the fully booked sign is up there is still room on the fields, they won't cram you in here. Incidentally, none of the pitches are next to  the bar and pool area. There statics are nearest  to the bar/pool, the camping and touring pitches are in the fields behind the statics. They have a few fields, ask to be in the one furthest from the bar if it bothers you.

Thanks Debbie. We've booked for a long weekend 30th June. We'll give it a go. Hope the weather improves
