Called Watermouth Cove site today to see if they had availability for next week but they will not accept our tent. Its a royal montpellier 12. There pitch size is only 7.5 by 4.5 according to the owner.   Its listed on the thread 'campsites that accepts large tents' and the reviews have said the pitch sizes are large.  The owner said we could have 2 pitches if there was availability but I would have to call tomorrow as his staff had gone home, but then it gets rather costly.  It looks like we have a problem tent, maybe not such a good buy after all if we are going to have a problem finding a campsite.  This will be the second time camping (if we can find a campsite), but the kids loved it so we are keen to go again.

Thanks a lot for the reply, will be looking at those sites.  It gets rather time consuming trying to search for a nice camp site - especially when they won't take your tent.  I have read previous reviews that people should pay for 2 pitches and be charged double.  I just think they should have pitches varying in size and then pay accordingly. To have to pay for 2 pitches and the children/extra people as well seems a bit excessive.
