We stayed here last year with a largish tent with no problem plenty much larger around. This year we have bought a Diablo 900 and I am beginning to worry if they will accept it.

HAs anyone with a 900 stayed here.

The web site says only tents up to 6 man - now although the Diablo says it is a 9 man tent there is NO way 9 people could live for a week in it. Last year I played dumb and said the tent had three bedrooms so it must be a 6 man (it was really an "8 person tent") should I do the same again?

Help. I need to get booked by the weekend for first week in Aug...

when i called a site they said they might charge me a little more as I had a big tent.. so when i arrived i played dumb just like you did, and said there's only 6 of us didn't once mention it was technically a 8berth and they never questioned it..... but got to admit it would worry me, if i hadn't called ahead to check they would actually accept the larger tent!!!!

Stayed at Homesley two weeks ago in a 9 man with no questions asked - However we did get there early and found a secluded pitch by the woods - It got busy later and soon filled up, which could be a problem for larger tents.

They dont come around checking with a tape measure.  Honest!!  Just make sure you find a pitch big enough for it.
