We just come back from Kiln park which is a Haven site has loads to offer, a few mins walk to the beach and about 10 mins walk to town.

One point camp away from the trees as the black birds are very noisey at 4.30am when the sun comes up lol

We have stayed on a couple of sites in this area.  Mill House, which is nearer to Saundersfoot (Stepaside) I think the area is called.  This is a small site with a childrens play area in the middle.  Owners are very friendly.  Small shop and laundry facilities.  Long walk to the beach at Wisemans Bridge, but can be done.  You can also then walk along the coast into Saundersfoot, or if you have cycles you can ride along the path as it is an old train route.

There is a small craft centre just up the road and a good pub selling home cooked meals.

The other site we stayed on was Trevayne Farm, again near Saundersfoot.  If you can get a pitch on the front the views are fantastic out across the bay.  Access to a secluded beach is via a steep path but well worth a visit.  When the tide is out you can walk along the beach into Saundersfoot and then catch the bus back which drops you at the top of the lane to the site.  Also, there is a footpath through the woods into Saundersfoot which also passes another couple of beaches.  You can walk through the woods in the opposite direction into Tenby, but we didn't do that one.

The site is a basic farm site, no shop etc.,,, Toilets and showers again are basic but clean, warm and free.

We enjoyed our holiday at both sites.

Trefalun is probably the best close to Tenby, otherwise look at Rowston near New Hedges

Dont go to Windmills. Overpriced for the extreme lack of facilities. I've seen cleaner public toilets. One shower and three toilets. Outside unsheltered washing up facilities. Nice views though but then most of tenby's campsites have this.
