Have booked for August BH weekend
Did a recce a couple of weeks ago.
A lot less windy than the site at beadnell. The owners were friendly and it seemed fine for tents. The cost of £16 night (18 with hhokup) includes showers.

Just come back from Springhill. They don't seem very organised, there were approx 35 to 40 caravans and tents there, so much for the 25 pitches. This left the toilet and washing facilities a little stretched with only 2 toilets and 2 showers each for males and females. most people in the overspill field were driving to the toilet block. No plans in place for fire i.e. no alarms, fire extinguishers etc.

Just got back from a windy seahouses.

4 adults and 4 kids had a great time.

Camp site was fine for our needs.

Yes only 4 loos and 4 showers but we never had to queue in the mens! and only briefly at the ladies

Yes an overspill field does increase the supposed 25 pitches ...if I was in the overspill i wouldnt be bothered it is just the adjacent field and you can pitch as far away or as close as you want.

Facilities are basic but fine washing machine, dryer, microwave freezer block exchange...

Major plus point was the large pitches. We got 2 sunvalley 8s and 2 cars on pitch 20

Seahouses centre is about 1 mile away...pubs, amusements  and fooderies

Contact with the campsite was initially a problem.....no point ringing just use email.

We enjoyed our stay and will return in the future
