Could you please recommend a campsite for tenting in the Lincolnshire area. We would ideally like one halfway between Hull and Great Yarmouth as we are meeting friends. Only things we would like are clean shower/toilet facilities and play area for children ages from 4 - 13. Thanks for your help.

We're off to Deers Glade campsite on Sunday following great reviews on this site. If clean toilets are a key factor then put this to the top of your list. They're discribed as hotel standard so must be good.
Looked on the search but there seems a lot and just thought that maybe people would post their favourite. Not too bothered about being on the coast or inland - just looking for somewhere halfway between our houses.
Thanks

Oakhill at Norton disney is nice, though closer to your home than your friends. One of the reviewers said the playground was more suited to younger children, but may be they have recently improved it because I thought it was good for all ages, even has one of those aerial runway thingies.
We stayed at Hartsholme Country Park for a week last year. Had a lovely time. The park is great. Bus stop outside gate for good service into Lincoln. Local shops, including newsagent, supermarket and chippy.

The White Horse inn at Dunston Fen,Lincs.....We love this place, slap bang in the middle of nowhere next to the river whitham. Next to a great pub run by friendly Fen folk. A hidden gem this one. Only 10 pitches so you should book. You wont hear any road noise here, just wood pigeons and owls. The facilities were good 7/10 and there is a play area
