right folks, I need your help !! 

I have sat trawling through the campsite search looking for a nice, quiet site in yorkshire thats not too expensive and that can take dogs and has a bit of water...I have looked at too many now as my head hurts and I have got nowhere fast..

can some of you lovely people please recommend some sites to me that you have been to or know of and I will take them into serious consideration and it can be my shortlist...I have been to woodhouse farm which is fab so no need to mention that one..keen to try some others..

I was at Willow House Caravan park a few weeks ago (about 3 miles outside of York) and it is a perfect site for what you require.

There is plenty of space for your dogs, it is quiet but also very central and there is plenty of shops nearby. Tents are only £12.00 per night with EHU.

I promise you will love it !!!!

Take a look at Slenningford Water Mill site to the east of Ripon, about 2miles past Lightwater Valley, good site on riverside.

Take a look at Castle Howard camp site.  It is on the Lake, within easy drive of York, the East coast and has lots of lovely walks in the vicinity.

Go into camp site search and type in Ripon. bingo.
