Hi

I've booked at a campsite in Ilfracombe north devon called napps.

Just wondering has anyone ever been to that area because i have never been and was wondering what places would be a good day out for families.

I've been told the is great and the site looks good so hopefully it should be good

Cheers

Steve

Cheers

Hi we keep our caravan at napps for the summer. Just came back yesterday after a week there. I am sure you will love it.

All the above places are good, there is also watermouth castle within walking distance, and you can go back in for a £1 once you have paid to go in the first time. Also we went to a place called ' The Big Sheep ' which we though was fantastic. They have demonstrations every 30 mins. Dog trials, sheep shearing ect. and a good indoor play area for kids. There is a dinasour & wildlife park, just up the road, and exmoor zoo a bit further on.

Also Woolacombe and croyd are about 10 to 12 miles away. great beaches and surfing.

Hope you have a great holiday, there are plenty of leaflets in the reception area, and the staff are very helpful.

The Lundy Island (from Ilfracombe harbour) day trip is good too - beautiful unspoilt place with lots of wildlife and we were very close to seals in the bay which the children were fascinated with.

Combe Martin is great too for rockpooling and crabbing and a lovely little town.

Great area to go to - enjoy your holiday!
