Vic Wildish - Parking still available on the fields above the beach at Gwithian and Godrevy. Don't know how much as we are National Trust members so its free. The views are fantastic.
Weston super mare, Brean etc - be careful. Some chap just lost his brand new 4x4 as he got caught out by the tide. Many an unsuspecting parker has been caught.
Thanks for that bit of info. Did know about those two places but thought they may not be as convenient for the beach as the one I mentioned.
You see, you learn something everyday!!!!!

Why do you want to take a motor onto the beach !! Dont you think it better to walk on and not smell hot engines, deisel, oil fumes. Some people will want carrying to the toilet next !
My Grandson and I rode are bikes on the beach ........ was really great (horse's would have been better) ........ was having a ball, then he rode his bike into the see - he was fully clothed at the time ........... thought it was a brill feeling ........ I declined his invite to join him

Southport used to have parking on the beach, still a long walk to the sea tho.
I would agree with a previous reply about Black Rock sands,Bl**dy awful place, cars, vans, etc coming and going all day,jet skis sounding like gnats buzzing about the place, cant understand why people rave about it?
I thought beaches were for kiddies, buckets and spades, icecreams, sandwiches with real sand in them, itchy underpants, flies, wasps, and granddad with his trousers rolled up to the knees and a knotted handkerchief on his head.
I should have pointed out that my mum is disabled and that is why we drove on to the beech to get her to where we were having a family bbq.Although in hind site it may have been better to have not taken her on holiday to the IOW.Better not to take her anywhere.Anyway we did remove the car after droping her off.
------------- a bad day caravaning is better than a good day at work

That was in the olden days Breezy ........ unlike you - we're all too young to remember
John, sorry mate, didn't know the circumstances, thought you were just being a lazy git! You didn't mention picking mum up again after the bbq... is she still there?
