Went a few weeks ago to Lyn Gwynant for the week its in the campsite search on the website superb for tents a stunning location on the edge of the lake the water is so clear you can swim in it or hire a canoe to go out on the lake at weekends.  You can have log fires on the site on special grates supplied by the site to wile away the evenings and when the sun sets watch the appache attack helicopters do there manouvers through the mountains at dusk. Good site fantastic location would go again.

Looks nice but a bit pricey - it would cost us £16 a night with ehu and the dog.  Strange pricing, too - £2 more for a campervan but £2 less if only one person in it? 

We always go to the Forestry Commission site at Beddgelert because there's good walking direct from the site and you can get into the village in about 15 minutes.
