Was looking to go camping with a few mates (6) in the Lake District. The only problem is that we are all male with a rage range of 17yo-19yo. We where looking to go camping in the first weekend in August 2006.

If anyone knows of any campsite that would accommodate us all can you please email me on jonathan_holland03 at hotmail.com or reply to this post? Any help will be appreciated. We have hit a dead end and need some directions.

Trouble is - site owners and campers aren't keen on camping with groups of lads (or lasses) as they tend to be a little noisy into the wee hours.  - not saying that this applies to you but

If your intention is to be in bed and silent by around midnight then explain this to a site owner and they may come up trumps

If you are looking to have a bit of a loud time, then best off looking for a site owned by a farm that may have a corner of a far off field they will let you use. Where you can have fun and you wont disturb anyone else looking for a quiet relaxing weekend!
