Does anyone know any sites that would be good for us to take our old VW camper to in the Derbyshire area. We haven't been anywhere in her yet, so we are itching to be off.  She is rather elderly, but should do a trip from N Yorks OK.  My husband would prefer a site with a pub attached!!

 There are loads of great sites in Derbyshire, but it depends what you want, other than the pub that is. There is a site called Rivendale which has it's own pub, also Callow Top which is a busier site, also The Grouse and Claret which is at the back of a pub, they are in the camp site search.

If your a member of C&CC there is a nice CL at Carsington water (uppertown farm). If not just opposite is the Knockerdown Inn. Haven't camped there but the Pub is nice.

There is a visitors centre and nice walks round the reservoir. Its near ashbourne
