Shell Island, off the cost of Wales.
Read the reviews to find out more. Its a massive site and you can camp anywhere. We would go there every wk/end if it was nearer. The beaches are great - you can have sand, rock pools or shells. There is a 20 metre rule between tents, which is great. Only one toilet block but there are a few shop, cafe and a bar. (but you wouldn't know it if you camp a mile away from that!
The other place around that area which is nice is Trearddur Bay, Isle of Anglesey. There are a few sites there, cant remember which one we stayed at. Couldnt find a fish and chips shop very near or a pub but maybe we were just blind! Great rocks to fish/crab off and lovely little bays to relax in.
Hope that helps a little.
