hi,

 i am looking for a campsites that offers things to keep the kids amused, i have 3 aged 10,14, and 16 so am looking for somewhere with a swimming pool,entertainment etc. looking for somewhere near the beach in wales/devon/cornwall.....can anyone recommend anywhere that is family orientated so there are lots of other similar aged kids.....thanks in advanced

A good one for outdoor kids is River Dart Country Park, near Ashburton in Devon, its not a commercialised site - so its rural, lots of walks, riverside, LOADS to do for kids - free outdoor pool, tennis courts, zip wires, adventure playgrounds, rock climbing, canoeing (charge), bar/restuarant, play lake, games room.  its close to Dartmoor, Torquay and the coastal beaches around there. (not sure it would appeal to the older kids though - but lovely site)

If you want full on entertainment and glitz your probably looking at one of the busier commercialised sites like Ruda holiday park in Croyde - North Devon, or Hendra at Newquay.

I think another one with entertainment is Lady's Mile in Dawlish.
