can anyone help? looking for a campsite with fishing lakes and allows dogs, just joined camping uk so new to the site

There are a lot of sites around newquay, cornwall, Brean Somerset and Peppermint at Dawlish, Crofton at Star Cross.  Still looking for more sites that have fishing and swimming pools!

Don't forget sites by rivers, lots around river severn.

Just thought when we were in Woolacombe a few years back there were lots of places around that had fishing on site or normal commercial fisheries you could fish at.  Sorry don't remember any names but there is a lovely little campsite at Berrynabour (or something like that) not much in facilities but their fishing lake was lovely, just over the way from the beach.

Blackland Lakes in Calne, Somerset has it's own fishing lakes.  Glan Morfa Mawr in Porthmadog is attached to a trout fishery.  Rothiemurchies site in Aviemore is down the road from the fishery.  Loch Garten forest campsite is next to Loch Morlich where you can fish.  We are going to Trebellan Park in Cubert near Newquay in a couple of weeks where there are fishing lakes.  The Plassey near Wrexham has its own lakes.  When I was looking for the fishing sites in Cornwall I found a website called www.swlakestrust.org.uk which details lots of fishing sites in the south west some of which have campsites. 

My son is just getting into fishing hence the fact I am always looking for sites with fishing attached!

 Welcome to the site.

One not far from you that has a lake for fishing and is a wonderfull place to stay is Deers Glade. You could also try Sumners Ponds in West Sussex near Horsham. This is also another excellant place to stay and also has two great lakes to fish.

 there's a couple of sites , we have used in the past , that have fishing on site .

 Wyreside Lakes fishery, near Lancaster, and

 Riverside caravan park, at High Bentham
