Does anyone know of any good campsites in the Lowestoft area? A  friend, going camping for the first time with her 10 year old daughter, is looking for a small, cheap site with no facilities other than loos and showers. I've looked at the reviews for the area and can find nothing suitable. I would use the C&CC site at Kessingland but it's not cheap.

Any suggestions gratefully recieved.

Hi Sezza, not sure of any sites like that in Lowestoft. Know of one or two in Yarmouth a little further on but facilities a little on the rough side.

I live in hopton which is about 4 miles from Lowestoft. I have enough room for a monty 6 in my back garden (see my gallery) which is handy as it seems you have one. You're welcome to use my facilities provided you do the gardening, wash my car and cook all my meals. Consider it an adventure holiday.

Try Rose Farm at Belton, the Norfolk meet site. Its not too expensive, and with exceptionally clean loos and showers.

Hi if you go to camp site serch and type in Kessingland there are five sites there all close to lowerstoft
