Can anyone tell me if they have been camping /touring at the callowtop site Ashbourne,as one review mentions a steep hill and I was wondering what it was like for us towing our van  we are new to towing?PLEASE ADVISE.

Slight hill but I only had a trailer tent at the time. But forget about the towing its the campsite you want to worry about! SARDINES! Packed in!! kids everywhere! You wont feel like you've had a relaxing time when you come home! But its up to you, people must like it, its always full. Im just giving you my opinion, also all the negative reviews have been removed off the review section on this website, why?? I cant answer that!

It's quite a few years since we went last - we got up the hill ok towing a Sprite Major with a Rover 820i but quite a few peeps got stuck and had to be towed up.
