Don't know which area you're interested in, but we've just stayed at Beadnell Bay, Northumberland.  Basic facilities there, but to one side (literally just across the road) is the beach, and to the other the Cheviot hills.  Surrounded by fields.  Beadnell village itself is lovely with a couple of good pubs and another lovely beach and harbour.  The rest of Northumberland is one big view!  Another site in Northumberland to consider if you prefer more facilities is Waren, near Bamburgh.

North Ledaig CC Site, near Oban.  On the front rows you are looking on to Ardmucknish Bay and over to the Isle of Mull.

I agree with Janx.......Longnor Wood, based just outside Longnor in the Peak District is a good site, with good views. Went there last summer. Good basic facilities, and very friendly and helpful owners.
