I know it seems like i am a fuss pot trying to organise my holiday and i know we will not have time to do everything just trying to have fun on our holiday, when you have 3 boys preperation is the key. its nice to find out if anyone has visited somwere out of the ordinary also it helps plan with costs if you have ideas of were you can visit in advance, also if it is raining to have a plan b.
im in devon, Burnham on sea is ok, but i wouldnt say the beaches up that way are appealling,....its the bristol channel - so anything from Minehead up to bristol - the water is a muddy brown colour and you have to be wary of the sand at Burnham and brean because when the tide goes out there is dangerous sinking sand....saying that though if you are looking for a seaside day out, fish and chips and a go on the amusements then Burnham is ok.
Devon and Cornwall are much better!....sooooo much to see and do and its all pretty down here...beautiful beaches.....too much on here to do to list!
Just come back from North Devon.Had a great time, stopped at Big Meadow camp site at watermouth bay.Nice site, showers, toilets etc very good.Nicely located for Combe Martin[great for rock pooling] and Woolecombe and croyde[great for surfing]the site has a great play area for the kids[no club]but has a shop and small amusement area.Free tractor rides and toboganing for the kids as well, plus its only £10.00 a night.Highly recommend it

You lucky people you will be there before us, we dont arrive till Sunday so sorry wont be able to help. But you will see us we will be the ones struggling with the Outwell Nebraska (big green thing) first holiday with it, only tried putting it up once in the garden.
Come over and say hello, do either of you have any children? my three boys said to ask (ages 10, 11, 15)
we have a 13 year old daughter.looking forward to our holiday , usually take our large frame tent which we are quite experienced in putting up but this will be the first time out with the trailer tent so we will feel like novices and pretty silly.
